0259 Prevention of rat holes in the hopper of the vacuum conveyor

This is an introduction to the case study of the bridge breaker "Brodisk."

This is an introduction to the case study of the bridge breaker "Brodisk." Unlike other bridge breakers, it does not cause the powder particles to degas due to impact or vibration, which prevents clogging. It also does not damage the tank. For more details, please contact us or download the catalog. 【Key Points of This Equipment】 ■ The elastic disk (silicone) is very important in terms of strength and durability, especially considering the risk of foreign matter contamination. The silicone disk of this equipment is exceptionally strong and durable. Once you use it, you will understand! ■ Control (how to aerate?) is crucial! We provide guidance on what should be done. A dedicated controller is also available. *We have many case studies published on our website. You can check them out via the link below.

0707 Preventing the rat hole phenomenon of PVC powder (Brodie Disk Mini)

Simultaneously turn ON/OFF four Brody Disk Minis with the C-SV1 controller!

We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of the "Blow Disk Mini" for users in the resin industry. We received an inquiry through a canning contractor. They mentioned, "If no specific measures are taken, rat holes will occur (from the resin manufacturer), and we would like to install the Blow Disk when newly fabricating the hopper. We would appreciate advice on the detailed arrangement." After reviewing the hopper drawings and powder samples, we provided information on appropriate arrangements and controls, which led to their adoption. The results after implementation were, of course, evaluated as "good" by the customer. 【Case Overview】 ■ Material: PVC powder ■ Hopper Diameter: Φ280 ■ Discharge Diameter: Φ80 ■ Number of Hoppers: 2 ■ Arrangement & Control: (per hopper) - 4 Blow Disk Minis (2 at different heights) - Simultaneous air ON/OFF for 4 Blow Disk Minis with controller C-SV1 *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Elimination of the rat hole phenomenon in talc fine powder.

We will introduce a case where the rat hole phenomenon was resolved in one go by installing a Brodisk.

We would like to introduce a case study where our "Broady Disk" was installed. We received an inquiry regarding the complete rat-hole phenomenon occurring in a talc fine powder hopper. In a square hopper, material was accumulating on the sloped surfaces, requiring manual hammering to dislodge it. When hammering was ineffective, they resorted to using a stick to poke the material. However, with the installation of our product, the rat-hole phenomenon was resolved in one go. [Case Overview (Partial)] ■ Hopper: 800×800 ■ Discharge: Screw feeder ■ Input: FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

0694 Prevention of rat holes in talc (tire-related)

The troubles of bridge, rat hole, and powder clogging were resolved more easily than the customer's expectations!

We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of "Brodisk" at a tire-related business. The company's challenge was to eliminate and prevent talc rat holes. While blockages at the discharge point were resolved by tapping, rat holes remained, and the powder remaining on the hopper wall was quite compacted. In our company, we installed one Brodisk (Type 15) near the discharge area on each of the four sides of a square hopper, and one more above that, offset from the center left and right, resulting in two Brodisks per side, for a total of eight Brodisks. Using a controller C-SV4 equipped with four solenoid valves, we aerated the eight Brodisks two at a time, and the customer's problem was resolved in one go. [Case Summary (Partial)] ■ Hopper Conditions - Size: 800×800 - Discharge Area: 150×150 - Discharge Device: RV *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
